Facilities Engineer

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Facilities Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Hickory, NC . Details for the position are as follows :

Pay Range : $50 - $71 / hr depending on experience

Contract : 6 months with possible extension and / or conversion

100% onsite in Hickory, NC

Job Description :

• Develop and manage multi-year equipment upgrade / replacement plans.
• Manage facilities engineering projects.
• Develop and manage the preventative maintenance program for all plant support equipment such as the following : HVAC systems, Chillers, Compressed Air Systems, Plumbing, Power Distribution, Exhaust Fans, Roll-Up Doors, etc. Develop, maintain, and upgrade (as required) the Control Systems for Chilled Water, Water Filtration, Compound Delivery and Silos, Building Automation System (Client), and other Facilities-Related Data Monitoring Systems.
• Support maintenance on plant processing equipment.
• Manage and coordinate all outside vendors and contractors supporting the facility in the following areas : HVAC systems, Chillers, Roof Maintenance and Replacement, Roll-Up Doors, Cleaning Services, Plumbing, Exhaust Fans, Lawn Care, and Snow Removal. Establish project plans (scope, schedule, cost estimates, procurement / contracting strategy, project acceptance criteria, etc.) for facilities related projects.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot any type of alarms for plant support systems such as the following : Chilled Water, Water Filtration, Compound Delivery and Silos, Building Automation System (Client), and other Facilities-Related Data Monitoring Systems.
