Prefabricated building system manufacturer that specializes in electrical substation control buildings and communication shelters is seeking an experienced Project Manager to use their skills in leadership, communication, and resource management to deliver projects from conception to completion.
Core Responsibilities
Project Planning : Develop detailed plans, budgets, and schedules for electrical projects.Coordination : Liaise with clients, engineers, and electrical subcontractors to define project scope and objectives.Budget & Cost Management : Track project costs, and manage change orders.Resource Management : Allocate and manage resources, including staff and materials, to ensure efficient project execution.Quality & Compliance : Ensure projects meet industry standards, safety regulations (like NEC codes), and quality requirements.Risk Management : Identify potential project risks and implement strategies to minimize them.Reporting : Prepare regular progress reports for senior management.Problem Solving : Address and resolve challenges, issues, and delays that arise during the project lifecycle.Site Operations : Coordinate and direct electrical subcontractors and support personnel during construction. Key Skills & QualitiesTechnical Expertise : A solid understanding of electrical systems, codes, and construction processes.Leadership : Ability to lead and motivate project teams to achieve goals.Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members.Organization : Excellent planning and organizational skills to manage complex projects.Problem-Solving : The ability to troubleshoot and find effective solutions to project challenges.Financial Acumen : Financial awareness to manage project budgets and ensure profitability.
