Acute Care Surgery Opportunity - Level II Trauma Setting Location : Southwestern Missouri (Tri-state area) Full-Time or Part-Time Position Position Highlights : Seeking part-time or full-time Acute Care Surgeon Join an established team of acute care and elective general surgeons Supportive, collaborative group with experienced midlevel providers Responsibilities : oRounding on Emergency General Surgery (EGS) patientsoSurgical consultations for ER and inpatientsoPerforming urgent / emergent surgeriesoWeekly outpatient clinic follow-up during daytime coverage weeks No elective surgery duties Da Vinci Xi available (use optional) Epic EMR coming soon No vascular case coverage requiredScheduling : Flexible scheduling : 10 14 shifts / month 12-hour on-call shifts with 12-hour back-up Recommended : no more than 7 consecutive days Off-day call coverage shared among teamQualifications : Critical Care Fellowship not required Board certified / board eligible in General SurgeryCompensation & Benefits : Competitive salary + start bonus Fellowship stipend (if applicable) Comprehensive benefits including : oCME allowanceoPaid relocationoPaid malpractice with tail coverageoOn-site daycare / learning center for employees children Teaching opportunities available (medical students & residents) Integrated healthcare system with extensive primary care and specialty support
