Sanitors are critical to our success here at FritoLay! Our Sanitors are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing our equipment that produces and packages the FritoLay products you already know and love. Although you will start as a Sanitor with FritoLay, we are investing in helping you grow. This job can open the door to career opportunities with us or our parent company, PepsiCo.

Here are some of the tasks that you could expect to perform during the workday as a Sanitor :

• Cleaning the equipment and lines necessary for manufacturing products
• Working with mild chemicals while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required to ensure safety
• Reading and utilizing checklists to ensure compliance with validated sanitation operating procedures then filling out end of shift paperwork validating work completion
• Detailed cleaning of equipment with provided tools, including scrub pads, brushes, picks and paper towels
• Inspecting equipment with a flashlight to verify successful cleaning

We are open 24 hours a day, which means you may not have a typical schedule, and o r jobs are physical! As a Sanitor, you can expect to work on your feet the entirety of your shift near heavy machinery in a loud manufacturing environment. We wear productive gear to ensure safety is maintained at all times. FritoLay manufacturing facilities are also large. While we want everyone to feel comfortable, our ability to control the temperature is limited. Indoor warehouse working conditions are impacted by seasons and the weather.
