Food, Safety and Quality Manager
We’re working with a leading beverage manufacturing company in Ohio that’s seeking an FSQA Manager. As a key member of the leadership team, you will ensure our products meet the highest quality standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the reputation of our brand. Location : Cleveland, OH
Job Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures and safety standards
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and food safety standards (e.g., SQF, HACCP, GMP).
- Plan, conduct, and monitor testing and inspection of food products to ensure finished
- product quality
- Investigate and manage customer complaints related to quality
- Document internal audits, manage third-party audits and other quality assurance
- activities
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.
- Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
Required Skills / Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree in Food Science, Microbiology or relevant field5+ years in a Food Safety / Quality Assurance or HACCP supervisory roleHACCP certified and very strong HACCP and regulatory skillsStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Must have or complete certification status as Certified Food Safety ManagerKnowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Must be able to work in a manufacturing / food production environment.Standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50 lbs) required throughout the shift.Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
