Position Purpose & Summary

Garden of the Gods Club and Resort is looking for a Nail Technician to provide professional nail and other salon treatments.

Essential Functions :

  • Provides services associated with his / her licensed occupation as a Nail Technician.
  • Greets and welcomes members and guests to the Spa.
  • Communicates clearly with members / guests and Spa staff to achieve desired results.
  • Assist members and guests with questions regarding either the Spa and / or the Resort.
  • Provides exemplary manicures and pedicures to each member and guest.
  • Performs all assigned / scheduled services and tasks using provided protocols and timeliness. Completes each service in a designated time.
  • Performs all support tasks associated with providing services assigned (set-ups and break down of treatment rooms, stocking and inventory of supplies, stocking and removal of linen, etc.).
  • Assists in the overall smooth operation of the Spa by maintaining orderliness and cleanliness of the workplace and facilitating communication with coworkers.
  • Contributes to events or promotions, as needed.
  • Deliver "I Am Proud" service standards and department-specific signature touch points.
  • Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates that are consistent and complete.

  • Marginal Functions :

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Interface positively with other departments, offering assistance when needed.
  • Displays care in use of equipment and maintains an organized and professional work environment.
  • Position Requirements :

    Minimum Knowledge & Skills : 2 years experience in resort, club, or day spa experience

    Formal Education and Job-Related Experience : High School graduate

    License, Registration, and / or Certification Required : State of Colorado Cosmetology and / or Nail Technician License. Must have completed a 350 hour (CO state requirement) manicurist course and received state licensure.

  • Dail y - Communicate with Spa Concierge and Spa Management daily
  • Weekly - Spa and Salon Management
  • Occasionally - Participate in one-on-one coaching sessions.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration : This position requires continuous teamwork as well as internal and cross-departmental communication.
