Acute Care Technician - AEMT / Advanced

At Renown Health , we're looking for an Acute Care Technician - AEMT / Advanced to join our team and support both patient care and nursing operations across all ages—from pediatrics to geriatrics.

In this role, you'll provide hands-on patient care, technical support, and vital operational assistance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider. Your contributions will directly impact patient safety, comfort, and experience while supporting the broader care team.

What You'll Do :

• Assist patients with daily living activities, mobility, and comfort while providing emotional support.
• Accurately obtain and document vital signs for pediatric and adult patients.
• Support clinical procedures including phlebotomy, IV access, medication administration, and other skills within established competencies.
• Transport patients and equipment, monitor safety precautions, and assist with clerical responsibilities.
• Ensure proper infection control, equipment decontamination, and safe handling of materials.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow care team members to promote excellent patient outcomes.

What We're Looking For :

Education : Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Experience : Prior healthcare experience preferred.

Licenses / Certifications :

• State of Nevada and Nationally Registered EMT Advanced Certification required.
• AHA BLS certification (required).
• AHA ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire).
• Skills : Strong communication, ability to prioritize under stress, and a passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
