Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position in a combined OB / GYN unit, requiring an active IA or compact RN license and at least one year of experience.

Responsibilities

Position is in a hospital OB / GYN unit with combined labor and delivery care

Night shift schedule from 7 : 00 p.m. to 7 : 00 a.m.

Assignment is for a 13-week contract

Provides care for laboring and postpartum patients as well as gynecological cases

Deliver nursing care for laboring patients and provide support throughout delivery and postpartum recovery

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team in an OB / GYN unit

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Traditional hospital scrub attire required

Requirements

Active IA or compact RN license required

Minimum of one year of labor and delivery nursing experience

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (RQI certifications not accepted)

Must provide Social Security number and date of birth for consideration

Cannot reside within 60 miles of the facility

Must not have been employed as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months

Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time

Proof of COVID vaccination required
