Subject Matter Expert (Travel Expert)

DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking experienced Travel Expert Subject Matter Experts with familiarity across multiple geographies, strong travel-planning knowledge, and deep insights into global destinations. This role supports next-generation AI development by helping refine travel-related datasets and evaluate AI-generated travel content for accuracy, quality, and practical relevance.

Ideal candidates will have a background in professional travel planning, tourism services, or travel journalism. Your real-world knowledge of hotels, destinations, sightseeing logistics, and common traveler constraints will directly contribute to training and evaluating advanced AI systems used in travel planning and global navigation.

Main Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and validate high-quality travel-related data for AI training
• Evaluate AI outputs related to itineraries, destination recommendations, hotel descriptions, sightseeing planning, and route optimization
• Assess content for accuracy, local realism, feasibility, and traveler-oriented decision-making
• Provide expert feedback on model behavior, including suitability of recommendations, travel constraints, and regional nuances
• Help build benchmark datasets covering global travel patterns, destination insights, and practical planning scenarios
