Emergency Room Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Night Shift Location :

  • Hermitage, TN Schedule : Full-Time - Nights (7 PM - 7 AM) - Rotating Weekends (2 weekends per month : Friday to Sunday) Compensation : Hourly Rate : $34.24 - $45.75 (Based on experience) Night Differential : $3.75 per hour Weekend Differential : $6.00 per hour Incentives : Sign-On Bonus : $20,000 Relocation Assistance : $5,000 (for candidates relocating over 50 miles) About the Role : We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Clinical Nurse Coordinator to provide high-quality, patient-centered care while managing staff and overseeing daily unit operations during night shifts.

Responsibilities :

  • Patient Care : Assess, monitor, and document patient symptoms or condition changes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

    • Leadership :

  • Delegate tasks effectively while ensuring accountability for patient care.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members.

    • Education :

  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers to promote understanding of treatment and care plans.

    • Safety & Compliance :

  • Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a secure patient and staff environment.

    • Quality Improvement :

  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

    • Qualifications :

  • Licensure & Education : Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state (required).
  • Associate’s degree in nursing (required), Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    • Certifications :

  • BLS from the American Heart Association (required).
  • ACLS and PALS (must be obtained within 1 year of hire).
  • CPI (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).

    • Experience :

  • Minimum of 3 years of RN experience (ER, ICU, or Psych nursing preferred).
  • At least 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience required.
  • Previous charge nurse or leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience in a Level III Trauma Center is a plus.

  • Level III Trauma Center Unit Size : 22 beds Team Size : 73 FTEs Daily Patient Volume : Up to 166 patients Charting System : MediTech (experience preferred but not required) Why Join Us?
