Medical Assistant- Orthopedics

Sierra Pacific Orthopedics, the leading full-service orthopedic group in the San Joaquin Valley, is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to add to one of our Orthopedic Specialty Practices.

JOB SUMMARY : Performs administrative and clinical duties in coordination with the Physician to provide quality health care to patients.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Completion of a technical program for Medical Assisting

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

Position requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Some patient assistance will be required. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone and other office equipment is also required. Employee must have normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS :

Normal clinical working environment.

Compensation : $21-$30 / hr
