Job Summary
A Monitor Technician is responsible for the continuous observation of cardiac monitors and interpreting heart rhythms (EKGs) to identify and report abnormal findings. They work closely with nursing and medical staff to ensure timely communication of critical changes in a patient's cardiac status. This role requires attention to detail, quick decision-making, and a solid understanding of cardiac rhythms and medical terminology. The Monitor Technician plays a key role in supporting patient safety and effective clinical care in telemetry or critical care settings.

Qualifications
Education and ExperienceHS Diploma or GED Minimum Requirements
Minimum Qualifications : HS Diploma or GED. Must be able to read, write and understand written and verbal communication. Basic Computer skills.
Working Conditions
Demonstrating attendance and reliability as evidenced by : Willing to adjust personal schedule in case of a real department need (work late, work extra shift). Rotating shifts as required including weekends and holidays.
