Production Supervisor Trainee Program
Green Bay Dressed Beef, LLC is seeking individuals who are willing to complete a training period in order to become Production Supervisors in our fast-paced manufacturing facilities in Green Bay, WI. Candidates must first successfully complete a 12-18 month rotational intensive program that provides an introduction to beef processing that will serve as a foundation throughout the employees career with Green Bay Dressed Beef, LLC. This is a hands-on position that is heavily engaged in day-to-day production activities manufacturing millions of pounds of beef on an annual basis. Individuals in the trainee program will work with experienced employees to learn all aspects of Harvest (Barn, Hide-On, Hide-Off, and Variety Meats), Fabrication (Boning and Packaging), and Quality Assurance (GMPs, HACCP, SQF, SOPs, SSOPs, etc.). This is designed for individuals who are self-motivated and work well with little to no supervision. Highly desirable for candidates to have ability to relocate following successful completion of trainee period. Trainee period does not have a specific time frame but generally takes 12-18 months to become familiar with the business in order to assume greater responsibility. It is the goal of the Trainee program to develop individuals to assume management roles. Production Supervisors are expected to effectively supervise assignment employees to efficiently produce a high-quality product. Further advancement opportunities depend on individual leadership, management ability, and the capacity to assume greater responsibility.
