What You Will Do :

P&W is seeking an exceptional candidate to fill the role of Senior Technical Fellow – Surface Treatment Processes, reporting to the Vice President, Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering.

These surface treatment processes include chemical processing, grit blasting, hand deburring, burnishing / deep rolling, media finishing, peening (including steel and ceramic shot & LASER), plating, ultrasonic cleaning, water jet stripping, laser cleaning, and robotic deburr.

Responsibilities include :

• Lead resolution of systemic quality and production issues related to surface treatment across internal and external supply chain sites.
• Establish performance benchmarks and standardization to achieve best-in-class in surface treatment processes
• Own the Surface Treatment technology roadmap & Parent / Child PFMEA's
• Develop employee proficiency levels, training and mentorship for the sub-discipline
• Contribute to and review the technical specifications for future capital acquisitions
• Be the key change agent, reviewer and approver for surface treatment procedures and standard work
• Ensure best practices are captured and shared across producers
• Support patent review teams as needed
• Connecticut work location preferred. 20-30% travel

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 176,000 USD - 352,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
