Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

AOT, Inc., the leading provider of pediatric, school-based services in southwestern Pennsylvania seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work 16 hours a week with school-age students (can be provided over 2 or more days / week, M-F). We have opportunities to work with preschool students in Beaver County if a full schedule is desired.

Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant

Direct therapy with students in preschool to grade 12

Consultation with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom mobility and participation.

Documentation requirements include data collection, marking period progress updates, yearly IEP revisions; including updated goals and treatment strategies.

Attendance at IEP meetings is recommended.

Some travel may be required throughout the school day

Requirements :

Graduate of an accredited OT / OTA educational program.

Valid Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant License

Passion for working with children and a clear dedication to helping them maximize their potential

Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
