The Daughters of Charity is a senior living community for the retired Sisters of the Daughters of Charity offering independent, assisted and memory care. We are located in Menands, NY, in a wonderful parklike setting. We are looking for compassionate, team oriented individuals to join us as a Per Diem Driver. This individual should be a caring and compassionate person who enjoys working with a senior population. Good communication skills are a plus.

Duties of this position include, providing transportation for our Sisters to Doctor appointments and ensuring that the correct paperwork is given to the doctor's office; driving both a car and handicapped van; running errands for the Sisters; providing transport for various outings; assisting the Sisters into and out of the various forms of transport. This person should possess the ability to react positively to change and must have a clean, valid driver's license.

A "consumer" report is a background screening report that may contain information regarding your criminal history, sex offender registry status, credit history, employment history, education verification, driving history, professional licenses, and other information about you.
