Hematology and Oncology Locums Physician - North Carolina

Outpatient Hematology and Oncology assignment in North Carolina, near Myrtle Beach, with full-time or part-time flexibility.

Highlights

  • 250 days still open; build your own schedule
  • No hospital call, rounding, or procedures
  • Minimal call; just a few after-hours texts
  • Long-term or short-term blocks available
  • Start as early as December

Practice Setting

  • Outpatient-only in a 35,000 sq. ft. cancer center
  • 18 exam rooms, 16 infusion chairs, on-site lab, PET, and pharmacy
  • Supported by 2 MDs, 3 APPs, radiation oncologist, and full nursing staff

    • Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 8a-5p with 1 daily admin hour
  • Choose 2-week blocks or 2 set days weekly
  • Open to ongoing or short-term commitments

    • Cases and Procedures

  • Full-spectrum Hematology and Oncology (Hem-heavy)
  • Common cases : anemia, leukemia, lymphoma, breast, GI, and lung cancers
  • No procedures required

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
  • Active North Carolina license
  • BLS and DEA required

    • Travel Accommodations

  • Flights, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
  • Within driving distance of the North Carolina coast
