Rx relief is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support a leading 503B Outsourcing Facility.
Qualifications :
- Active New York Pharmacist Technician license
- 3+ years’ experience in a 503B, hospital compounding, or cGMP-regulated setting
- Strong understanding of FDA, DEA, and state regulations
- Experience with QMS and controlled substance compliance
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, medications, and compounding techniques
- Understanding of sterile compounding procedures and aseptic technique
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and compound sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical preparations according to established protocols and safety standardsAccurately measure, mix, and package medications following physician orders and pharmacy specificationsMaintain detailed production records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsOperate and maintain pharmacy production equipment, including automated dispensing systems and compounding toolsPerform quality control checks on all prepared medications to ensure accuracy and safetyFollow USP guidelines and maintain aseptic technique when preparing sterile productsOrganize and stock pharmacy inventory, ensuring proper storage conditions and rotation of medicationsClean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and production facilities according to established proceduresCollaborate with pharmacists and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely productionAssist in training new technicians on production processes and safety protocolsMonitor expiration dates and remove outdated medications from inventoryMaintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulationsWhy Rx relief :
