As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrols in Burlington, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech and media locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming environment. You will conduct regular patrols, engage with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible security-related presence within a technology and media-focused location.

Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or conditions to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives as required.

Assist with controlling access to restricted areas and verify credentials as directed by site procedures.

Support the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality and proprietary information common in technology and media environments.

Document incidents, activities, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.

Provide information, directions, and assistance to employees, contractors, and visitors as needed while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.

Minimum Requirements :

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
