Job description

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Antioch, California.

Opportunity : RN - CCU

Job Details :

  • Work 12-hour shifts from 11 : 30 PM to 11 : 30 PM (night shift)
  • Every other weekend requirement
  • No on-call requirements
  • Function as House Float Nurse coordinating professional nursing care throughout the hospital
  • Respond to all Rapid Response calls including RRTs, Code Sepsis, and Code Stroke
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and initiate RRT standard procedures
  • Assist with IV insertions including ultrasound-guided placement
  • Support safety and monitoring of critically ill patients throughout the medical center
  • Facilitate supportive presence by checking in with Charge Nurses on all inpatient units and ED
  • Support critically ill monitored transports and emergent procedures
  • Assist with ED admissions, trauma activations, and discharges
  • Provide education on early detection of decompensating patients and airway management
  • Must have ICU and ER experience with preference for Rapid Response Team or code team experience
  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS (must be AHA certified)
  • Preferred certifications : CCRN
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • Travel experience required
  • Previous charge experience preferred
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Skills include ventilator management, arterial line management, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, central line care
  • Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
  • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
  • Valid California nursing license required at time of submission
