Barbering Instructor.

Savannah Technical College is seeking a full-time Barbering Faculty for the Public Services Division.This role includes teaching all phases of the barbering curriculum, overseeing program compliance, and effectiveness. The faculty member is responsible for ensuring that instruction, equipment, and facilities meet industry, state board, and accreditation standards while supporting student success through advising, mentoring, and career readiness initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active State of Georgia Master Barber License
• Earned high school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in barbering within the last five (5) years
• Familiarity with state board examination preparation
• Ability and willingness to work at multiple campus locations, as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution in a related field
• Prior teaching/training experience (preferably in a post-secondary setting)
• Demonstrated leadership experience in an educational setting
• Familiarity with technical college accreditation standards
