Job Summary :
Join an innovative power management company focused on sustainable engineering as a Gas Insulated Equipment Training Specialist. In this role, you'll support the creation and delivery of training programs for Gas Insulated Switchgear systems, working alongside senior engineers and cross-functional teams. This position is ideal for someone with early-career engineering experience and a passion for learning, teaching, and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist in designing and developing training classes focused on Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) systems
Collaborate with engineers and internal teams to define training needs and quality goals
Support development of CYME-based classes and content
Help troubleshoot technical training issues and provide corrective feedback
Contribute to improvements in training materials and delivery processes
Stay current on engineering trends and tools to enhance training effectiveness
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and internal documentation policies
Required Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
1–3 years of engineering experience (including co-op or internship)
Experience working with engineering software (e.g., CAD, MATLAB, LabVIEW)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented with a strong sense of accountability
Nice-to-Have Experience :
Internship / co-op experience in electrical or systems engineering
Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
Exposure to GIS technologies or power transmission systems
Certifications related to electrical engineering or systems design
Knowledge of manufacturing or production environments
Required Skills :
Engineering training or technical documentation
Proficiency in CAD, MATLAB, and LabVIEW
Cross-functional team collaboration
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Process improvement mindset
Preferred Skills :
CYME software familiarity
Project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA)
Industry regulations and engineering standards
GIS-specific experience or training
Background in technical education or curriculum development
