Key Responsibilities

  • Perform complex cardiothoracic surgeries , including heart valve repair / replacement, coronary artery bypass grafting, and thoracic organ interventions.
  • Diagnose and treat conditions of the heart, lungs, esophagus, and chest cavity with precision and care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including cardiologists, pulmonologists, and critical care specialists, to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
  • Provide preoperative and postoperative patient care, ensuring ongoing monitoring and recovery management.
  • Stay current with advancements in surgical techniques, minimally invasive procedures, and cutting-edge medical technologies.

    • Required Qualifications

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Completed residency and fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery .
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
  • Eligible for licensure in the state of Alabama.
  • Strong technical skills, patient-centered care philosophy, and excellent interpersonal abilities.
