Continuous Improvement Manager
The Continuous Improvement Manager will lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives designed to reduce costs, enhance efficiency, expand margins, and improve throughput across Singer Equipment Company. This role is hands-on and requires someone who thrives in ambiguity and drives measurable results through data-driven problem solving and relentless execution. You will work across Sales Operations, Purchasing, Category Management, Pricing, and Logistics to identify bottlenecks, optimize processes, and deliver tangible ROI on every project undertaken.
Essential Functions
- Lead and execute cross-functional projects focused on freight optimization, margin expansion, pricing strategies, and process efficiency.
- Identify, prioritize, and quantify improvement opportunities that deliver measurable ROI in cost reduction and profitability.
- Design, build, and deploy data tools and automation solutions including web-scraping, data aggregation, and process-automation utilities to surface insights and reduce manual effort.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines that consolidate information from multiple internal and external sources (e.g., competitor pricing, supplier programs, and operational data).
- Collaborate with department leaders to assess current processes, uncover inefficiencies, and recommend actionable solutions.
- Own end-to-end project delivery, from defining the problem, building the case, executing improvements, and measuring impact.
- Standardize and document processes to ensure improvements are sustained and scalable across business units.
- Champion a data-first mindset, translating raw information into insights and decisions that move the needle.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field (advanced degree preferred but not required)Experience : 57 years in operations, process improvement, or data-driven project leadership rolesExperience with freight, supply chain, or operations required. Experience with contract negotiations preferredTechnical Skills
Strong Excel requiredExperience developing automation scripts, web-scraping tools, or lightweight data applications (Python, VBA, Power BI, etc.) requiredCertifications : Lean, Six Sigma, or PMP preferred but not requiredSuccess Profile
