COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT SUPERVISOR

Under the supervision of the Director, ACA Consumer Engagement and Education, the Community Engagement Specialist Supervisor works to educate and motivate CES’s to effectively educate, and enroll new participants in Medicaid, Tax Credit, or State Marketplace insurance plans under the Affordable Care Act.

Must be willing and able to become a subject matter expert on the ACA and SHS programs.

Responsible for the day to day monitoring of CES’s and ensuring that they are in their assigned locations.

Must generate weekly reports detailing CES activities for the week.

Responsible for effective community member engagement and education at multiple location and venue types each day, distributing education and marketing materials, setting up and taking down events.

Must develop and maintain relationships with community and faith based organizations.

This position will work mainly in communities in South and West sides of Chicago, depending on assigned areas.

Hires will receive on-the-job training.

Ability to accurately and quickly enter data into a desktop personal computer or tablet. Bi-lingual English / Spanish preferred.

Ability to work flexible hours, including frequent evening and weekend schedules.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED :

Valid Illinois Drivers License is required and the ability to use a personal car for work-related travel is preferred (with employer mileage reimbursement).
