Title : Data Engineer

Compensation : $130,000 - $145,000

Work Environment : Hybrid (2 Days in Office)

Location : Glenview, IL

Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k + Match Data Engineer Job Responsibilities :

Create and manage infrastructure including databases, data warehouses, data lakes, etc.

Create data models and schemas that support analytics, reporting, and future AI / ML initiatives.

Guide implementation of modern data engineering tools and frameworks such as Azure Data Factory and Databricks

Design and implement efficient ETL / ELT pipelines for structured and semi-structured data from multiple sources.

Utilize CI / CD pipelines to deploy solutions to target environments.

Monitor data quality processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

Analyze and understand business user requirements to effectively develop solutions that meet business needs.

Implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance .

Data Engineer Minimum Requirements / Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining data processing and reporting applications.

Ample experience with ETL tools including SSIS, Informatica, DataStage, or similar tools.

Ability to build and maintain scalable and secure Operational Data Stores, Data Marts, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Lake Houses.

Strong working background with SQL Server for performance tuning and database design.

Proven working experience with Power BI, Tableau, Domo, Infor Birst, etc.

Any experience with emerging technologies such as machine learning and artificial intelligence, preferred

Data quality management and master data management, including tools such as Talend or Informatica, preferred
