Superintendent - Commercial Construction - Top ENR ESOP

The Role

The Superintendent will oversee all aspects of field operations on assigned projects, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, quality control, and budget performance. This position requires proactive coordination with subcontractors, owners, architects, and municipalities while leading on-site teams to successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily field operations, maintain schedules, and forecast project needs

Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to achieve milestones

Facilitate OAC, weekly trade meetings, and daily huddles

Oversee quality, safety, and constructability reviews

Manage RFIs, inspections, and compliance with building codes / OSHA

Maintain budget awareness and identify cost-saving opportunities

Mentor and supervise Assistant Superintendents / Field Engineers

Desired Background

7+ years of commercial construction experience with strong tenure at prior employers

Ground-up project experience in healthcare, education, industrial, municipal, or specialty sectors

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and codes

Proficiency with scheduling software and project management systems

Strong record of subcontractor and client relationship management
