Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Minnesota school district is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide virtual services to students in Transition (1822 years old) and the Area Learning Center (ALC) program. This role focuses on supporting older students with communication needs related to functional life skills, vocational readiness, and social communication.
Key Responsibilities
Provide virtual speech and language therapy to Transition-aged and ALC students
Conduct assessments, re-evaluations, and progress monitoring aligned with IEP goals
Address functional communication, social pragmatics, self-advocacy, and workplace readiness
Develop and update IEPs, participate in meetings, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Consult with special education staff, transition coordinators, and vocational support teams
Maintain accurate documentation and meet all state / district compliance timelines
Qualifications
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Minnesota MDE Teaching License (required)
ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
Experience with Transition-aged or secondary students strongly preferred
Comfortable delivering services in a virtual setting
