Personal Care Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION :

We are looking for a compassionate personal care assistant to support clients living with physical, emotional, and / or cognitive impairments. Your duties will include performing basic housekeeping duties, assisting with personal hygiene, and providing companionship.

To ensure success as a personal care assistant, you should possess experience in a similar role and knowledge of the best practices in providing personal care. Ultimately, a first-class Personal Care Assistant will be someone who prioritizes the wellbeing of clients and demonstrates a caring approach.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Must have completed Personal Care training and competency.
• Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly.
• Ability to carry out directions, read and write.
• Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and able to work weekends
• Must have a vehicle.
• Must have a valid / current driver’s license, car registration and car insurance.
• Successful clearance of background checks.
• Basic computer skills.
