NICU Director Level III RN – Full-Time Opportunity in Austin, TX! Pay Details :

Base Salary : Up to $173,000 annually .

Bonus Eligible :

Performance-based incentives available.

Job Summary :

Join a leading multi-specialty hospital in Austin, Texas, home to a renowned Level III NICU .

As the NICU Director , you’ll oversee high-quality, patient-centered care while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee the daily operations, staffing, and budgeting of a 99-bed NICU unit with a team of 150 FTEs , including 2 Managers .

Develop and implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety, quality outcomes, and efficiency .

Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards while staying ahead of industry benchmarks.

Manage patient flow, admission / discharge planning, and care coordination policies to deliver exceptional care.

Foster interdisciplinary communication and collaboration to meet the needs of patients and families.

Lead initiatives to achieve an unparalleled patient experience and advance clinical excellence.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s Degree preferred .

Current RN license in Texas or an active compact license.

BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

NRP, FHM, or RNC-OB certifications are a plus.

Minimum 3 years of NICU leadership experience required.
