Opportunity Details

Medicus is collaborating with a medical center in southern California that has an opportunity for a skilled Hematologist Oncologist to assist with locum coverage.

About the Opportunity :

• Schedule : Monday-Thursday, 7 : 30a-5 : 30p
• Call : Weeknight and 24-hour weekend call shifts
• Setting : Outpatient chemotherapy and infusion center
• Patient Volume : 15-21 per day, split between MD and NP
• Duties : All aspects of diagnosis, staging, precision medicine, symptom management, and treatment of hematology oncology patients
• Infusion Center Services : Chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood / platelet transfusions, hormone therapy, antibiotic therapy, rheumatoid arthritis injections, and therapeutic phlebotomies
• Support Staff : NP, RNs, MAs, front office clerks
• EMR : iKnowMed and Cerner
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible
• Paid travel & expenses
