Labor & Delivery RN Job Details Location : Jefferson, NC 28640 (Blue Ridge Mountains) Healthcare Setting : LDRP Unit (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025 – End : 2 / 23 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM), manager scheduled Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1590–$1700 Patient Ratios : 1 : 1–2 Weekend Requirement : As determined by department needs Float Requirement : May float to MedSurg, CNA, secretary, or helping hands roles Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or Compact State (required at start) Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Strong skills in fetal heart monitoring and autonomy in high-acuity clinical settings Experience with Centricity and Meditech Magic electronic charting systems preferred Ability to float to other healthcare units as needed First-time travel nurses welcome!
