The Landings Golf and Athletic Club is a private luxury residential club on Skidaway Island dedicated to providing members with an active lifestyle through resort-class amenities. Job Responsibilities :

Provides consistent professional facials, waxing, and other esthetic treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.

Educates members on specific wellness concerns after evaluation is completed (while being clear that such information is not medical advice).

Is careful with equipment and uses moderate amounts of product to assist with cost controls.

Informs membership of and promotes all services, treatments, discounts and retail offered at the Wellness Center.

Upholds the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.

Performs prep work, properly cleans and restocks room as required.

Communicates to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention in a prompt manner.

Responds to members and or guests’ questions and concerns professionally, promptly and courteously.

Possesses the ability to work with minimal direct supervision.

Maintains a positive attitude and contributes toward a quality work environment.

Attends, participates in and supports training and staff meetings.

Accurately bills members and their guests by the end of each day.

Assists in all areas of spa services operation as requested by management.

Communicates to management any and all occurrences involving staff, members, or guests in The Landings Club that require attention.

Complies with departmental uniform and grooming standards.

Works effectively as a team with all departmental employees.

Works variety of shifts, as needed to include nights, weekends and / or holidays.

Complies with departmental and Club policies and procedures.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Skills :

Holds and maintains a current state Esthetician license, 2 years' experience preferred.

Thorough knowledge and applicability of numerous esthetician modalities and body treatments. (Facials, chemical peels, waxing, microdermabrasion, lymphatic drainage, eye lash extensions).

Ability to read, understand and follow verbal / written instructions.

Ability to manage a diverse workload and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations.

Highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks and to deploy resources effectively.

Must have the willingness to provide exceptional service to members and desire to provide leadership to position the department to achieve the mission.

Ability to understand verbal and written direction in English.

Physical Requirements :

• Maintains high stamina in hourly increments while performing services.
• Must be able to lift from 1 up to 50 lbs for up to 50% of workday.
• Bending and stooping 80% of work shift
• Stands and walks for 95% of workday.
• Requires high energy for 95% of workday
