Position Overview

The Department of English seeks a Senior Lecturer to teach one course (English 3271 : Structure of the English Language) in the Spring 2026 semester. In addition to teaching, the Senior Lecturer prepares syllabi and course materials for assigned courses, holds office hours, grades assignments and submits grades by deadlines, and communicates regularly with students.

The Department of English offers an undergraduate major with four specializations, including writing, rhetoric and literacy, as well as six undergraduate minors. It also offers three graduate programs : the MA / PhD in English studies, MFA in creative writing, and MA in medical humanities and social sciences.
