Lead Full Stack Software Engineer (JavaScript, Java, AWS)

What You'll Do :

Work alongside Agile teams to design, develop, implement, and support comprehensive technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies.

Stay ahead of tech trends by sharing your enthusiasm for experimenting with new technologies, participating in both internal and external technology communities, and mentoring fellow engineers.

Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust, cloud-based solutions that enhance the financial empowerment of millions of Americans.

Utilize a broad range of programming languages and tools, including JavaScript, Java, HTML / CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, and container orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, alongside various AWS tools and services.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not count).

Preferred Qualifications :

5+ years of experience in at least one of the following : JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.

1+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or a similar cloud platform.

3+ years of experience working with open-source frameworks.

2+ years of experience applying Agile methodologies.

This role is based in McLean, VA, with a salary range of $158,600 - $181,000. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the respective pay range. This position is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and / or long-term incentives.
