Job details Cherry Picker Operator / Packer
We are looking for a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Cherry Picker Operator / Packer to join our warehouse team. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our fulfillment process, operating at heights and ensuring every order is accurate and ready for our customers.

Responsibilities:
Order Picking: Operate a Cherry Picker (Order Picker) lift to reach high-bay racking and pull products for outgoing orders.
RF Scanning: Utilize an RF gun to scan barcodes, verify inventory accuracy, and update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) in real-time.
Packing & Preparation: Securely pack items into shipping containers, ensuring proper padding and labeling to prevent damage during transit.
Quality Control: Inspect items for defects or damage during the picking process; ensure the correct SKU and quantity are selected.
Inbound/Outbound Support: Assist with replenishing stock into high-bay locations and staging completed pallets for shipment.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on the lift and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Working hours: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Skills:
Preferred Qualifications
Active Forklift/Order Picker Certification.
Previous experience with specific Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or HighJump).
Experience in high-volume e-commerce fulfillment.

Experience: Minimum 1???2 years of experience operating a Cherry Picker/Order Picker in a distribution environment.
Tech Savvy: Proven experience using RF scanners for picking, put-away, and inventory counts.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/operate machinery for the duration of a shift.
Safety First: Must have a solid understanding of OSHA warehouse safety standards and a comfort level working at heights (up to 30 feet).
Detail-Oriented: Ability to read small print, distinguish between similar SKUs, and maintain a high level of accuracy under deadlines.
Shift & Working Conditions
Schedule: Monday ??? Friday, 10:00 AM ??? 6:30 PM.
Environment: Warehouse setting with varying temperatures.
Safety Gear: Steel-toed boots and safety harnesses (provided) are required at all times.
Typical Day: Your shift starts during the peak morning flow and concludes by finalizing late-afternoon shipments for daily carrier pickups.
