Job Description Summary :
Responsible to prepare and deliver Composition and Literary Studies coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways that reflect a commitment to student success. Composition and Literary Studies offers on campus, on-line, and hybrid courses. In addition, this position primarily requires teaching dual credit courses to high school students in-person on high school campuses as well as teaching some coursework on ACC campuses or online or within the Integrated Reading and Writing co-requisite program. The position starts August 2026.
Job Description :
The Composition and Literary Studies Department offers developmental and co-requisite courses and college credit courses across all ACC campuses and online; we provide a large number of dual enrollment college credit courses for area high school students seeking to earn both high school and college credit. Course offerings include Integrated Reading and Writing; Composition 1 and 2; American, British, and World Literature; and multiple offerings of these courses in the Liberal Arts Gateway and Honors programs.

Faculty will be assigned primarily Dual Credit courses with most courses held on the high school campuses and traditional sections on ACC campuses as assigned.

Working Conditions
Salary Range
$70,870 - $96,197 (Based on a 10.5-month contract to start Fall 2026)
