FTE : 0, Shift : Day, Schedule : PRN - Monday through Friday

Position Summary

The Rehab Community Relations Liaison technician is responsible for achieving Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation strategic organizational goals through supporting the rehab referral and admission process. They will support the Communication Liaison in their work including : providing a single point of focus for rehabilitation patients as they move throughout the continuum of care to assure smooth, appropriate, coordinated, timely and resource sensitive transitions and ensuring those services provided are in the best interest of the patient and family. The position requires professionalism, enthusiasm, perseverance, organizational skills effective listening skills, and the ability to prioritize workload while maintaining discretion and effective judgment in decision-making.

Essential Functions

Thorough Chart Review and creation of preadmission screening document for referrals to rehab.

Support screening of program requirements for referrals to rehab.

Communication with patients, family and referral sources about program, admission status, and other questions.

Support processes required to admit a patient to inpatient rehabilitation program.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of the specific discipline

Currently licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), in the State of Washington or Current Licensed Practical Nurse in Washington State or Multistate license endorsement (MLS)

Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience as a member of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team is required

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $28.13 - $40.49 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to : skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and / or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
