Job Title : Wire Harness Design & Release Engineer (Power & Signal Distribution / PASD Release Engineer)

Job Location : Auburn Hills, MI

Work Schedule : On-site

Rate : $60 / hr, Based on experience.

Responsibilities :

Responsible for end-to-end design, validation and PLM release of LV and HV wiring harness

assemblies and related components. Owns creation of drawings (2D & 3D), wiring lists, BOMs, and ECNs; coordinates prototype and vehicle integration activities and provides plant support during pilot and production launches.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and release wiring harness assemblies (schematics, pinouts, wire-lists).
• Produce 2D harness drawings in Capital / XC and 3D routing / geometry in NX / CATIA.
• Manage BOM, ECNs, and configuration control through Teamcenter / PLM.
• Support prototype builds, vehicle integration, and bench validation.
• Lead DFMEA inputs; participate in DVP&R; planning and testing.
• Coordinate with packaging, electrical architecture, suppliers and manufacturing.
