Education : Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiology, or related field.Licensure / Certification : New York State License, Registration, or Eligible; Current CPR certification; Registration certification for Contrast Injection required. ARRT certification must be obtained within one year of appointment.Experience : Minimum of five (5) years of progressive technical experience.Technical Skills : Proficiency in interventional radiology equipment operation and imaging procedures.Soft Skills : Strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.Key Responsibilities :
Perform complex interventional radiology procedures under physician directionOperate and maintain specialized interventional imaging equipmentPrepare and administer contrast media according to established protocolsMonitor patient vital signs and status during proceduresMaintain sterile field and assist with invasive proceduresCollaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
