About the Role
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Behavioral Health Physician Assistant, or APRN provides direct psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. This role combines clinical acumen with a patient-centered, trauma-informed approach to care. The provider will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated treatment and high-quality outcomes through both telehealth and in-person care models.

Requirements
Education : Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (APRN) or Physician Assistant Studies.
Experience : Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, or addiction medicine preferred.
Licensure / Certification :
Active, unrestricted license as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), APRN, or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in Connecticut.
DEA registration with buprenorphine waiver (preferred or must be obtained within 90 days of hire).
Competencies :
Strong diagnostic and psychopharmacologic skills.
Knowledge of trauma-informed and recovery-oriented care models.
Familiarity with telehealth delivery and electronic medical record systems.
Excellent communication, empathy, and collaboration skills.
