Responsibilities Work in the Interventional Radiology and Pain Management departments of a hospital setting Level 1 Trauma Center with mandatory floating within Radiology and Pain units, and may float to other departments within 50 miles as required Day shift schedule : 8 : 00am – 4 : 30pm, 5x8s, occasional weekend days On-call rotation assigned weekly, Monday through Friday (12am-8am), and 24-hour on-call coverage on weekends and holidays Every other weekend required (2 weekends per month) Staff required to wear lead during procedures Uses Cerner EMR system Responsibilities include assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures and supporting patient care before, during, and after interventions Scrub color is navy blue and scrubs are not provided Proof of COVID vaccination is required but booster is not mandatory Strict compliance with documentation and onboarding deadlines is expected No block scheduling or special scheduling requests will be approved Maximum of 5 days requested time off, with no more than 2 consecutive days and no weekend or holiday RTO approved Parking available for $2 / day with shuttle service Team-based support model is used if floated outside primary specialty Requirements Active IL RN license required prior to consideration Minimum 2 years of RN experience, preferably in Interventional Radiology or Pain Management Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications Must provide proof of required vaccinations prior to start Must complete lab work within 72 hours of accepting assignment Locals accepted if residing within a 75-mile radius Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625662.
