Overview

A conscientious and organized person who schedules all surgical cases. When needed pre-certifies patients for surgery. Maintains communication with OR scheduling staff, patients, and providers.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule all surgical cases
  • Pre-certify patients for surgery when needed
  • Maintain communication with OR scheduling staff, patients, and providers

Qualifications

  • High school Graduate or equivalent
  • Basic Computer skills are necessary
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Excellent customer service / communication skills
  • 2 years previous experience in a similar position preferred
