The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate the patient care plan. The Staff Nurse, RN functions as the primary caregiver, providing direct patient care and collaborating with other care team members, physicians, and patients / families to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The incumbent is responsible for managing and conducting the care of up to 3 ICU step-down patients or up to 4 med / surg patients.
