Sr. Process Engineer – Electronics Manufacturing / SMT / Wave Soldering

Location : Plano, TX

Pay : $90,000 - $110,000 + 6% bonus

Schedule : Monday-Friday (On-site)

Our client is a leading electronics manufacturer specializing in circuit card assembly (CCA) and box assembly. With a strong commitment to innovation, quality, and continuous improvement, they provide cutting-edge solutions in the electronics manufacturing industry.

They are looking for you, an experienced Sr. Process Engineer with expertise in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Wave Soldering, to join their team in a direct-hire role. If you're ready to take on a fast-paced, hands-on engineering position, this could be your next opportunity!

What You Get To Do

Develop, configure, and optimize manufacturing processes for electronic assembly
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and throughput
Support equipment selection, performance optimization, and maintenance
Analyze defect data and implement solutions to reduce non-value-added operations
Collaborate with production teams to improve assembly tools, automation, and product flow
Provide training and technical guidance to production operators

What You Need To Succeed

5+ years of process engineering experience in electronics manufacturing

Strong expertise in SMT, Wave Soldering, and Mechanical Assembly

Experience with process control methodologies (SPC, Cp, Cpk)

Knowledge of IPC documentation and Lean / Six Sigma methodologies

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
