About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience :

Minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry, vents, and peripheral IV start required.

Prior travel assignment experience is required.

License :

Registered Nurse licensure is required. Pending license accepted but must have license prior to start date.

Certifications :

ACLS, BLS, NIH, and CCRN preferred.

Must-Have :

Ability to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.

Must have proof of licensure application at time of submission.

Rotating weekends included in the schedule.

RTO must be no more than 8 days and must be scheduled so that the traveler can work a full schedule.

Description :

This role requires strong critical care nursing skills.

Nurses will be responsible for providing care to patients in the ICU.

Management of ventilated patients is a key responsibility.

Experience with arterial line management, chest tube insertion / removal, and blood product administration is necessary.

Compassionate patient care for adults and geriatrics is essential.

Understanding and managing continuous IV sedation and neuro intensive care are expected.

Caring for patients with complex neurological conditions such as strokes and seizures will be included in the role.

Interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals is vital.

Familiarity with using a charting system is required.

Nurses should be able to interpret dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases.

Experience with fluid management and infection prevention protocols is also needed.

Regular monitoring of patient conditions and proactive communication with the care team are essential tasks.
