Data Center Technician Level 3

We are seeking a skilled Level 3 Data Center Technician to join our client's team onsite in Mount Pleasant, WI. This role focuses on GPU cluster deployments and maintaining high-performance data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of hands-on experience in network infrastructure, server installations, and network updates. The ideal candidate will have experience in data center operations as well.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Perform tasks including server / switch installation, cabling, and hardware inspections.
• Deploy and configure GPUs in servers; perform break-fix tasks and component replacements.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve technical tickets.
• Coordinate build activities and ensure alignment with data center standards.
• Manage multiple projects and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Perform Level 1 & Level 2 tasks as needed.
• Qualifications :
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in network infrastructure, server installations, and network updates.
• Experience troubleshooting and installing servers and switches.
• Experience with GPU deployment and troubleshooting.
• Experience racking and stacking servers or switches.
• Familiarity with structured cabling (Cat5 / Cat6, fiber optics).
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, climb ladders, and wear PPE as needed.
• Flexibility to work non-standard hours including weekends and holidays.
• Preferred Certifications & Skills :
• CompTIA A+, Server+, CCENT, CCNA, MCP / MSCE.
• Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Knowledge of ITIL Framework and Network Fundamentals (OSI Layers 1-3).
• Experience working in a data center.
• Other Details :

Day and night shifts are available, either 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am. Candidates will work either Sunday - Tuesday and every other Wednesday or every other Wednesday and Thursday - Saturday.

• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00 / hr.
