Job Description

The Auto Body Technician's primary responsibility is to provide an exceptional customer experience through the meticulous assessment and quality repair of each customer's vehicle, restoring it to pre-accident condition. The Auto Body Technician disassembles, repairs, and reassembles vehicles and contributes to the company's goals of speed, quality, and customer excellence. The technician works with team members to achieve repair facility KPIs and represents the Brand at all times.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work, prepare cost estimates for customers, and use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Hammer out dents and minor body damage; apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and windshields as needed; repair interior parts as required.
• Weld and fit parts; prepare and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Compensation Details

$25 - $28 / Hour Flat Rate

Flat Rate Compensation is a performance-based structure directly tied to booked hours. If total compensation in a pay period is less than minimum wage, clocked hours will be guaranteed to meet local or state minimum wage, whichever is greater.

Supplemental Pay

Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience. This position may also be eligible for bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
