Key Responsibilities

Build and deploy API proxies and policies in Google Apigee Edge.

Apply security protocols (OAuth2.0, API Key, JWT).

Integrate APIs with Kafka topics for event-driven messaging.

Use Jenkins for CI / CD and code quality.

Monitor APIs using GCP Stackdriver and troubleshoot issues.

Publish APIs to developer portal and support client onboarding.

Maintain proxy mapping and participate in governance sessions.

Required Skills

47 years in API development, 1+ years with Apigee.

Strong in REST APIs, JSON / XML, and API security.

Experience with Kafka, Jenkins, GitHub, and Stackdriver.

Familiar with event-driven architecture and microservices.

Preferred

Apigee certification.

Experience with Apigee Hybrid on AKS / GKE.
