Responsibilities

• Manage Staffing
• Monitoring breaks, safety, & PPE compliance, shift cleaning assignments
• Monitor company policies compliance of all employees
• Sign offs on quality and changes
• Monitoring and managing daily production, ensuring support from maintenance, process to solve losses, escalate as needed
• Monitoring quality of goods produced
• Coaching and training of operators
• Leading startups and shutdowns to ensure all activities are complete and done in a timely manner
• Conduct disciplinary actions with employees as required
• Closely work with Line and Slitter Leads and, delegate some activities when needed or required
• Lead the process for developing the skills of his / her employees, accelerating cross-training. Assist with any needs of LMS system for employees
• Work with the site counterpart to prioritize daily issues and share / shift resources are required to address and maximize overall plant performance for the shift
• Follow directions from Line Managers
• Other duties as assigned.
